The tour is led by a person who has been working on stained glass windows for years, and has both historical and technical knowledge. During the tour, you go from table to table, thanks to which you can familiarize yourself with the entire process of creating stained glass. The whole lasted 45 minutes - I asked a lot of questions and learned a lot. A great place for lovers of stained glass.

This was a last minute find as we'd finished our earlier activity sooner than expected. We booked it online with 15 minutes before it closed for the day and rushed down there, not quite knowing what to expect. I LOVED this visit. You get to see the inner workings of how stained glass pieces are produced, with people working around you as you visit working on new creations. I've spent years marvelling at various stained glass works and so it was an absolute delight to witness how they're made and all the work that goes into them. Visit here before heading to the Museum as you'll get some inner knowledge and appreciation for some of the pieces on display at the museum. P.S I lost count of how many times our guide had to tell certain people not to pick up the glass. These aren't cheap biscuits and are sharp so, please, unless you're told otherwise, don't pick up the glass!
