At the start, you are told a bit about the history of Chopin which is interesting to hear. The rooms ambience could have been better, they do turn down some of the lighting at the start but it still feels a little bright. The pianist was wonderful, and it was a pleasure to hear Chopin’s music live. The wine is a slightly sweet, sparkling white wine.

We have never done anything like this before, so decided to try it and glad we did! Bit disorganised when we got there, but the wine was nice :) The pianist was an amazingly talented man and played beautifully and the setting added to the ambience of the concert. Please be aware though there is no lift and it’s two flights of stairs, so if you have people who cannot walk well that maybe a problem. Overall this was a good evening doing something different whilst in Krakow and would recommend it to anyone visiting.

You really have to capitalize on opportunity to listen to Chopin’s works in Poland - there are so many fantastic pianists to interpret his works and the one who performed tonight was superb. The concert hall is much more intimate than typical orchestra hall and you can enjoy great performances in a casual comfort. I was not sure if encore is not allowed in this performance as everyone quickly exited after first bow out of the pianist. I would have loved one more piece...
