A worth while and sobering trip to Auschwitz, guide was very informative and knowledgeable. Trip around the Camp was around three hours, would suggest a reasonable level of fitness as a lot of walking and at times we were moving quite quickly to keep our Tour at the correct places on time. We were given head phones and a transmitter to hear the guide, not given at the second camp. The Salt Mine moved at a similar pace, this time we had head phones to hear guide. Again knowledgeable and pleasant. Dry and quite warm in the mine, coats not needed with all the walking around. Steps easy to navigate but plenty of them, mainly going down. Some we needed to climb up, hand rail could be used. Again a reasonable pace set to keep our tour moving, walking shoes ideal foot wear. Both trips very good, 1.30 hrs travelling to Auschwitz and 30 minutes to Salt Mine.

Very interesting place, guide was like a robot but I think you have to be to deliver such upsetting information. Salt mines is not for the faint hearted lots of steps and walking. No time to shop or buy food or sovereigns that was the only down side. Well worth it though

I cannot recommend the tours highly enough. We were picked up punctually each day at our hotel by friendly, knowledgeable and helpful drivers. Both guides knew their subjects very well and were more than willing to answer any questions. There is a lot of walking and standing on both tours, so I would recommend doing them on separate days (wearing comfortable shoes!). Both tours were well organised and I would certainly recommend them to friends.
