What people are saying about Krakow
Probably woudl have given this a 3.5 if that was available. The info on where to meet with the ticket I had was inclear - checked via email and given info to go to office. When got to office they said just to to venue. Advice given to the group (as we talked to others waiting) and on ticket was to meet outside... which we did ..... 15 minutes after agreed meet time we all checked with the office, and the guide was inside. The museum id very very busy... so this was not a good start, and when we said to the guid that the info was misleading and people were waiting outside she was very dismissive. The guide around the museum was informative, but could have been improved with the use of headphones as there is lots of noise as part of the displays as well as other tours and visitors so often difficult to hear, I would recommend the tour on the basis that you don't have to queue and you are guided round - other wise it is very doable on your own.
Easy to book. An experience not to be missed. Our guide was booked for 4pm as we had a morning tour finishing at 2pm. She was extremely professional and knowledgeable but I feel she had too much to cover in the 1 and 1/2 hour tour. She used good English but was quietly spoken and battled against the commentary from the museum speakers. We were disappointed that we were unable to stand and view the exhibits and read the info boards. If we had been warned of this we would have allowed ourselves extra time to go back round the rooms again, which you are allowed to do. Overall though, we really appreciated the museum.
Enjoyed it the tour also it mixed emotional what happened with Jews did by Germans during the war. Only one disappointing is to be aware for deaf groups with interpreters to help understanding what is all about! It is ok for hearing people with headphones which it not for deafs people with no hand in with note papers or digital pad with subtitles it shame if have those equipment to be treated for equality both rights should have notes for guide to talk about the camps etc.. then it will be brilliant tour best ever I was say it good tours ..Thank you.
We pre booked our tickets and had fantastic help from Getyourguide, when times did not fit with expected arrival. There was a very long queue when we arrived, so we were very glad we had pre booked tickets for Oskar Schindler’s Factory. As a family of four we found museum very interactive for all members from aged 8 years and over.
Get one if you are in Krakow for 2 or 3 days. If you are based in the centre you will not require the travel element. We were a few km outside and the travel part was really helpful. Transport system is cheap and easy to use anyway. Loved the whole experience!
