Travel to different locations in and around Kiruna and Abisko National Park to maximize your chance of seeing this miracle of nature at its most magical. Following pickup from your hotel or accommodation, journey to Abisko approximately 90 kilometers north of Kiruna, or another location where the lights can be seen depending on the time of year and weather conditions.

Learn all about the natural phenomenon, and get tips on how to capture it on your camera with advice from your guide on the best camera settings. Don't worry if you don't have a camera but would still like to take some pictures: cameras are available to rent on location if required.
