What people are saying about King Power MahaNakhon
Very close to the Chong Nonsi train station. Staff really friendly. The glass floor area was a joke. People go crazy to take a picture from rope as you not allowed to take a selfie basically (no idea why) actually allowing that would mean the whole floor would be covered with people lying down and people treading on others (safety. Good thinking) but walking across was an experience. Felt a little nausea :). The views in general are incredible. Go for sunset...wow...seeing the day and night contrast in incredible. They have a lovely sofa area in the middle with little table lamps and if you are there early enough, they have tables right next to the glass overlooking which looked a dream. Watching the sunset with a drink.
Visited on last day of my trip to Thailand and so glad I did. This place is awesome! Amazing views but scary on the glass platform (if you’re 57!) My daughter lives in BKK and always thought this was a bit too touristy to visit her self but she said it was amazing too. Great DJ music and a rooftop top bar which was expensive, but hey, so what
The view is stunning from the top of the skyscraper. The first step onto the glass platform feels like you are stepping into nothing... it can be a little scary. You are allowed to spend as much time as you like.
Such amazing views of the city, best enjoyed at sunset. The ambiance and atmosphere is fab too. Complimentary drink was also a nice touch. Plenty of seating at various levels to choose from.
I highly recommend. There is a live DJ and a rooftop bar with amazing panoramic views. Go sometime around an hour to a half hour before sunset so you can see it in both the day and night.
