Breathtaking View, and Very Imformative Guide.

Alltogether I enjoyed the trip, the drive was long, but our guide was giving us information on the Mount Olympus we passed, How its related to the God Zeus and How Alexander the great assembled his armies. I enjoyed the trip and the Beauty to see in Greece. A really good opportunity to Escape The City Life and see something breathtaking in nature. We went to 2 Monasteries as promised. And in between we went to a really nice Spot to take pictures. It was basically the highland of taking pictures. The guys should make sure to wear pants for the monasteries, based on their religious beliefs.

Excellent - the tour guides and the drivers are the best!!

We had an amazing time in Meteora even with the fog and some bad weather, but the two guides, specially Cristos, was spectacular and make us have so much fun and told us amazing and interesting information! Thank you so much for that! The organization Meteora Thrones was perfect too, very organized and helpful! The only thing that we didn't like that much was the hotel because we didn't had hot water to shower and the breakfast wasn't that good .. But that was the only two things that didn't went that good in the tour! Thank you so much for everything! We will recommend for sure! :)

Learned so much about this amazing place

This is a great tour. We did it the first day we arrived to learn more about the area and the monasteries then spent the next 2 days hiking. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. The monasteries and views are amazing and the sunset was breathtaking. The only downfall was that there was a Spanish speaking family who had an interpreter with them. I’m not sure if this was supplied by the tour company or if he was a personal friend, but he had to repeat everything the guide said and as it was a small bus, and he was rather loud, this was quite distracting.

Good tours, but it’s better to go there by car!

Meteora is amazing place to visit, but it is best to rent a car to go there. This tour is ok, but the guides are not telling much and not very motivated. We visited only 2 monasteries and lunch was very late! They don’t tell the schedule in advance, which did not help to preare best for the trip. They only make one stop on the way and there is no toilet in the bus. The lunch was very basic and small portion, so take snacks.

An enjoyable day but a variation in route would have been better

It was a very cloudy day and so the very darkened coach windows made for an even drearier environment! In baking sunshine they might have been an asset. Looking at a map a variation in route out and back would have been preferred as there would seem to be a motorway route available to the north of Meteora now as well as the route via Larissa. Anna the guide was informative.
