Full description
Expect to have an amazing day whale watching on the open Alaskan waters. Your captain will show you the humpback and killer whales, sea lions, porpoises, and more. Your adventure heads through Favorite Channel, Stephens Passage, Lynn Canal or Saginaw Channel, which are all popular spots to spot some of Southeast Alaska's famous wildlife.

Your guided tour will begin at the cruise pier where you will be driven to downtown Juneau. At Auke Bay, you will board one a specially designed boat with large windows, heated cabins, and outdoor decks. There is a 100% guarantee that you will see the whales or you will get your money back for that portion of the tour. As the captain sees a whale, he slows down and you head out on the decks for a truly unique and up-close experience. With plenty of time out on the water, you are sure to see an array of spouts, tails, breaches, and more from these magnificent whales.

The second destination of your tour is the world-famous Mendenhall Glacier. Take in the massive and mighty glacier, an explosive river of ice with rugged crevasses and vibrant blue color. You will have 45 minutes to explore the walking paths and the U.S. Forest Service Visitor Center. Here, you will find some amazing photo opportunities, including black bears feeding on wild Alaskan salmon, as you walk along high trails over salmon spawning streams.
