What people are saying about Jasper
This was a great tour. Ryan, our tour guide, was great, and he knew a great deal about the flora & fauna of the Canadian Rockies. We saw wapiti (elk), timber wolves, coyotes, osprey, a bald eagle... the only thing we didn’t see was a bear, but Ryan did his best to find one. Ryan was amazed that we saw the wolves, and said that this was the first time this year that he’d seen them himself. This was a truly nice way to see the area without needing to drive. We had ample opportunities to get off the bus for photos. We would recommend this tour for families and people of all ages.
We had a very nice tour with Kelly. We started with a coyote with three pups. Then we saw Stumpy, a three legged bear. They think he is hit by a train. Later we saw a bald eagle, mountain goats and elk. On the way back a black bear looking for bugs under stones. And close to the village a brown collored black bear. Kelly was very informative and a good driver. I can recommand this tour!! We did the evening tour. I think in the evening there is more chance to see wild life.
We had a great time on our tour. We did not get to see many animals, but we were not too disappointed, since there was so much more to see, and learn about. We really appreciated that Ross made the effort to get our boys, aged 7 and 11, involved in the tour.
The tour package mentioned about the disappearing lake but we never stopped at that place. I missed to take pictures of the lake. It will be missing out on my family's adventure during that tour. I may have to go back there just for that.
Nearly 4 hours in a comfortable minibus with an exceptionally knowledgeable guide and assistant. Taken to sites where we saw mountain goats, longhorn sheep, cayotes, elks and deer. A definite addition to any visit to Jasper.
