What people are saying about Jaipur
Very Happy to tell that we had a very pleasant tour of the city of Jaipur thanks to a knowledgeable, expert and friendly tour guide, Raj; he knew the history of this city so much that it was very easy for us to understand the tour: very friendly and fluent in english, we were lucky to get a tour guide like him; definitely recommend him and Balaji tours to anybody planning to visit Jaipur.
We really want to thank our driver who saved our life ! On the way back to Jaipur we were in the middle of the giant sand storm and our driver managed the situation in a n excellent way, put us in a safe place for 1,5 hours . Thanks God he was here. Professional ! As regards the visit, amazing place, very good guide
Guide+driver were great.Finding them was the first challenge.I got a call to my room, went to the lobby right away, but there was nobody,so I waited+then the guide turned up.The stops were great but could have been longer considering that the tour turned out to be a half-day tour rather than the booked full day.We rushed through the sights+around noon time the guide said if he has a single visitor the tour will finish earlier.I wonder why!Just give your customers more free time to explore the sights once the explanations are over!I got 10,15 or 20 minutes maybe to have a look by myself and then we went on to the next sight.I also had a one hour lunch break after the 5 sights were over,if I assume that sb decides not to have lunch, the tour would finish even earlier.Bummer.Although in the description the last part of the day was planned to be shopping there was no plan from the guide.Upon insisting on the part, took me to carpet/printing shop+souvenir shop and were happy the day was over...
We did only the amber Fort, not the other ones. We also visited the city palace and the observatory (jantar mantal), and had a glimpse of the water Palace (jal mahal) and wind temple (hawal mahal). Also did some shopping and we skipped lunch.
Avnish (tour guide) and Sanju (our driver) both very kind and knowledgeable. Anvish knew everything about the history and the people, and helped us enjoy Agra. They took us to shops where crafts were made by the people with their hands. I recommend you come here and a take tour with them. Very safe and took a lot if good care of us! The ONLY problem, the reason I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because they absolutely INSISTED on me reviewing them. They stopped the tour in the car for 15 minutes trying to figure out why I couldn't rate them at that moment. I told them repeatedly that I had to wait 24hrs to receive the link and they wouldn't listen. Then after we had a 2 hour break until hour train to Delhi was to arrive, they took my phone for an HOUR messing around trying to find out how to review them. This turned a very pleasant experience into a very uncomfortable one. They should not do this to future clients, very uncomfortable and VERY unprofessional.
