Full description
See a different side of Istanbul as you explore its more residential neighborhoods on the Asian Side of the city. Tailor the experience to your wishes, with either a small-group or private guided tour.

After meeting your guide, head across the Bosphorus Strait on a ferry to the Asian Side.  Find out about the historic role of the strait in trade and politics as you watch the locals with your cup of traditional Turkish tea and simit (sesame bagels).

After you arrive, discover the sites with your guide. Visit an Ottoman imperial mosque in Uskudar beforeheading up the Bosphorus coast on a famous minibus. Catch some of the best views of the European Side from here. Enjoy the commentary about daily life topics from your local guide about how the city serves its millions of inhabitants.

Finally, reach Kuzguncuk, a small fishing village where Ottoman viziers and other notable figures built their famous wooden mansions. Witness its authentic character and lively café culture. Learn about the fabric of society here, with Jews, Greeks, and Armenians who have lived together sharing the same daily habits for centuries.

Afterwards, you can choose to spend some more time in Kuzguncuk or head back to the meeting point with your guide.
