What people are saying about Istanbul

Fascinating, ethereal and quite beautiful

For anyone interested in spirituality and the beauty of Islamic music, to watch the Whirling Dervishes as they perform their reverent dance, is a privilege and joy. If you are expecting to be entertained by a show, this is not for you.

Well worthwhile. Efficiently organised and intelligent and informative

We were glad we booked this tour. Very efficiently run by the guide. He was easy to find, we left on time and his commentary throughout was intelligent and informative and with a touch of warm humour. My only complaint is that I would have liked it to be longer.

A pilgrimage every Australian should take if they have the opportunity

Visiting Gallipoli has long been something that I have wanted to do to pay homage to our Anzacs and to the Turkish soldiers who fought in this terrible battle. It was long day trip from Istanbul but our guide Burak (whom we met at Gallipoli) was a knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and passionate guide who added so much to the trip. Thank you.

Gallipoli Full-Day Tour from Istanbul Reviewed by Greg, 01/06/2019

Kadir is a patience and knowledgeable guide.

Kadir Kucekeren was absolutely fantastic. He is very knowledgeable and we saved lots of time enjoying Istanbul with him. He knows all the secrets to truly enjoy the city in a safe and efficient manner. He personalized our trip to fit our cultural interests - like Süleymaniye Mosque. He is very caring of his guests; he helped my mother up and down the old city steps. He is a true gentleman and I will always be grateful to him for his patience and understanding.

Honest presentation, for tourists but respecting the spiritual aspect

Of course this was NOT a religious ceremony. The balance between spirituality (of the services and musicians) and spectacle (for us tourists) was well done. The space is very nice and well adapted for this kind of presentation. The exposition about the sufism and Rumi is interesting. It's possible to have a tea in the entry-zone. It is not possible to take photos of the presentation, even without flash.
