What people are saying about Inverness

WOW! Gordon! The BEST Guide That Could Ever Be!

My mother and I took the Isle of Skye tour with Fairy Pools from Inverness and it was nothing short of a magical adventure. Gordon, our seanchaí (storyteller), shared history, humor, insight, and the SPIRIT of the Highland peoples and beasties. We called for Nessie (and the other beasties that live in Loch Ness), danced and swam with faeries, gained a newfound appreciation for whiskey, and we shared lots of laughter. We felt very safe the whole time with his competent care and driving. This tour unleashed within us a unique love and passion for the Highlands. What a day!

Great locations just wish we had more time in some places

All locations we went to were breathtaking and more than we expected how beautiful the country is. Our driver made extra stops that we all enjoyed. I wish we had more time to get lunch. Also the last stop was a little disappointing since we got to town after all the shops were closed except the ice cream shop but it had a long line. Not enough time to get the ice cream. We will definitely recommend this tour to everyone we meet.

An excellent way to spend the day and an excellent company to book!

The tour guide was absolutely excellent! We had some very poor weather conditions with low visibility, and our guide (Marita) made the days itinerary very flexible to maximize what good weather we managed to find. She was entertaining and knowledgable and didn't let the poor weather negatively affect our trip. The castle and gardens were stunning an the falconry display was breathtaking. Highly, highly recommend this tour!

Lots of information on Scotland and history!

Great tour guide who knew lots of fun trivia tidbits about Scotland. I enjoyed the commentary immensely. I did expect a few more stopping points, places to stretch legs and a few more walking areas, but it was a lot of ground to cover and see. Trip goers should know to bring snacks, and expecting to be on a bus or a boat for most of the day.

A great way to learn about the myths of Loch Ness

Our 2 hour tour included a 1 hour visit to Urquart castle. The trip was well organised and the staff and crew were friendly and polite. It was a great way to learn more about the myths of Nessie and we really enjoyed our trip.
