Well worth the money for everything you get ! Staff are very welcoming

This was a great tour that was well worth the money for what you get to see . Teresa and Jaco were wonderful guides . They let us stop several places for pictures and knew a lot about the history of Amalfi. The coast is gorgeous just like a post card . You don't want to miss these views . They pick you up and drop you off and you get lunch . Teresa was so kind and helpful . I really appreciate her knowledge and was impressed that she knew three languages . She did an excellent job translating for everyone . World Tours is a great company and we loved our experience with them . Jaco was a excellent driver ! We were in some very tight spots and he was able to manage getting around big busses and other groups. The only thing I wish we would have know is that we would get some free time at the beach So we could swim but it was still a nice time to unwind and take beautiful photos . I would definitely use this tour group again . Thanks so much for your help and knowledge.

Tour was marred by chaotic start - nearly 2 hours picking up.

The tour was very slow to begin the outward journey; it was unfortunately extremely hot and Pompeii was crowded with visitors, mostly in big groups. The guide was very good & gave a radio commentary throughout this part of the tour. The site of the ruins is worth a visit, but you must expect huge crowds. Lunch was OK, but too far away from the site so more coach time. Also the menu was unclear for showing spaghetti with tomato sauce, which was a meat sauce and not suitable for a vegetarian or a catholic Friday. The second part of the day to Herculaneum was much much better - less crowds and the site very much better preserved. Would recommend this part of the tour rather than Pompeii. The guides were both very good. BUT the organisation of the initial picking up must be improved because that was very poor.

Ancient Pompeii was brought to life by our fabulous archaeologist

Ancient Pompeii was remarkable; we explored with Paola, an incredibly interesting and witty archaeologist who ‘brought to life’ the layers of civilization (dating back to 600BC) and eventual destruction (79AD) of this amazing place. Paola pointed out numerous interesting details, for example: along the fabulous stone-cobbled streets, you can see wheel tracks made in the stone, over hundreds of years and the huge stepping-stones over all the streets were to prevent Pompeiians from stepping in the street sewage-rivers! Paola has worked on Pompeii for many years and everyone on his tour was as enraptured by this remarkable pace as he so obviously is. You will be lucky if you get Paola as your guide.

Naples and Pompeii Rewind, A Must Before You Die

I travel very often as an international scholar, graduate student and a global traveler. This is one of the best and most reasonable rate anyone can have for what it had to offer. I’ve been to Naples a couple of times but having Sylvia and Bruno of GYG. Com handle your trip made it the best for us. I was able to see and understand the Pompeii Event, enjoyed the food, people and landmarks of Naples...with every detail going back several thousand years. I highly recommend this contractor to anyone and if you haven’t seen Naples, call them and enjoy this place before you go to your box! No offense to the “box” was trying to emphasize a point!

the place is amazing, the audio guide is average

The place is incredible, so much history ... a must do activity. The audio guide is average. Too many locations were not available, despite the number been displayed. Others were closed, which my understanding is because of security or lack of personnel. Either way, at least listening to part of the history and learning from the place was worth it
