What people are saying about Hong Kong
We are 4 adults who went on a good tour in Hong Kong hosted by Mark. Mark kept in touch with me prior to the trip, and gave us options to think about. We met Mark at 10:00 am so he took us to a place where we had Hong Kong French toast and a wonderful bun with butter (doesn’t sound too exciting but both dishes were delicious and something we had never tried before. Then we had some street food which was fish balls and octopus. The fish balls weren’t our favorite food but the octopus was yummy. Then we were off to dim sum and another taste feast. Finally we went out for bubble tea which was another first for us. Thank you Mark for a memorable day in Hong Kong. Mark was fun and entertaining. He kept us smiling and laughing the whole way. I highly recommend Mark and this food tour.
My wonderful hiking trip ⛰ would not have been possible without Rory as my excellent guide to the ins and outs and the beautiful trails of the ⛰ complex. For those four hours we were jungle explorers of the Hong Kong hinterlands, befriending mock vipers and pregnant, -bellied salamanders . And enjoying the lush greenery and rich verdure of our wild and untamed surroundings, and we are warmly welcomed by the au naturale and cooly refreshung shower of waterfalls ️ offered by the wondrously beauteous works of nature ! It is at times tiring tho not exhaustingly so, but absolutely worth breaking a sweat for! One will most certainly gain a greater perspective on life after this simple yet great experience!
This was an extremely interesting insight into the side not normally seen by tourists, particularly looking at the housing situation in a very crowded Hong Kong. S.P. was a great guide showing us the area with a lot of local knowledge and willing to answer all questions. There was a walk through the animal market, flower market and the bird market as well which started the tour off. There is a little walking but not onerous but wear comfortable shoes. Do not go if you are easily upset by seeing homeless people on the streets or if you may get upset by the living conditions seen.
Evangeline was the perfect host. We walked in the town a lot, took the metro to Kowloon and visited the Peak. Definitely worth having a guide for us as we were only in HK for a day and a half and we used the time well.
If you want to get the best seats make sure you get on at the Tsim Sha Tsui side. Sit somewhere that you can see both sides of the water. My son and I had a great time and the photo opportunities were fabulous.
