What people are saying about Ho Chi Minh City

Very worthwhile trip to the Cu Chi tunnels!

We got picked up at our hotel on time. Our guide Steven was very polite and thoughtful. He talked about Vietnamese culture on the way to the tunnels which was very interesting. Big recommendation! Thanks Steven for making our day /Simon & Wendy

Viet was a great tour guide with a lot of knowledge and personality

Viet was a great tour guide, who shared interesting stories and perspectives both on the bus and at the tunnels. By booking online, the bus was able to pick us up at our hotel in District 1, which was extremely convenient. The tour was well worth the price, especially at the discounted low-season rate. The bus ride was longer than i expected (1.5+ hrs), but was well worth it to get a chance to see the tunnels.

Best way to experience dining in Ho Chi Minh City

After a day watching motorbikes zooming in and out of traffic and along footpaths, I wondered why I had booked this tour, but from the moment our guide Steve met us he put me totally at ease. What an amazing experience this was, visiting places we would never have found to experience the best of Vietnamese food, drink and atmosphere in amongst the local people. Our guides openly shared their knowledge of the local history, customs and culture. We felt comfortable and secure throughout our tour and could not have asked for better guides, Steve and Andy were brilliant and we recommend them very highly.

Loads of history and well organised tour

Jimmy, our guide was very nice and gave us loads of information about what happened in Cu Chi and in general about the war. His English was sometimes difficult to understand but we got the overall points and we could clearly see that he had loads of knowledge, it was just a bit of a language barrier. The tunnels are of course the highlight and although narrow, there are 6 exits so if you are feeling that you can't manage it, you can leave every 20 metres or so. I left at the 4th exit and it was very good, glad I did it and overall, we were very glad we did this tour to know more about their history. Ah, they make an initial stop in a shop where handicapped people make crafts and to use the toilets.

Excellent tour with #1 tour guide in the world - Mr Lockie

A great experience on this tour. Not only was Mr Lockie so knowledgeable and honest with his sharing on Vietnam culture and history, he was also extremely entertaining and hospitable. He made effort to engage every single one of us at every point of the way. Will surely look for him when I'm back in Vietnam.
