What people are saying about Hiroshima
On arrival we changed into traditional dress. We then had a lovely experience learning the Kanji calligraphy and signing our work - our teacher was very patient. Then the tea ceremony was perfect...we learned the the processes and the significance of the ceremony and made our own tea. Our hosts were amazing and the experience was unforgettable. Thank you so much.
A really great tour seeing the main sights as well as other more off the beaten track locations. An insight into the recovery of Hiroshima following the A-bomb and the resilience of the people. Very knowledgeable and passionate guides complimented the tour with personal stories and reflections. Don’t miss it.
Shinichi san planned the trip based on our interest. He explained the history and shared his personal story of a relative that offered us insights to the difficult period of re-building Hiroshima after the 1945 bombing. Shinichi san spoke good English. He paid attention to details and took good care of us.
I would definitely recommend anyone who is interested in wearing a kimono and trying out calligraphy as well as a tea ceremony, to stop by at this place! The two women that organized everything were so lovely, friendly and kind!! I had a lot of fun :)
Yumi is able to make us feel very much at home. We were so relaxed that the time passed by so quickly.
