Pamukkale is your Instagram post kinda place!

We were picked up from our hotel in Antalya around 07:15-07:30 a.m. in an air-conditioned van! Then we picked up the other passengers and started on the approximately 3 hour long drive to Pamukkale! Our guide was this young, attractive looking girl Dilber! She was very interactive & informative! On the way we stopped at a gas station for toilet break & buying refreshments! Then we stopped for about an hour at this shop which sells stone & stone products (which was a complete waste of time and should have been avoided)! Then we had buffet lunch at a restaurant, which was good! Then we reached Pamukkale! It is a place which is good for taking pictures for social media! “The Cleopatra Pool” is very dirty and full of algae and can be completely avoided (especially considering you have to pay 50 Turkish Liras to enter it)! Then we started on the journey back to our hotel and reached around 08:00 p.m.! It was a long, tiring day!

Most worthwhile trip from Kusadasi - highly recommended

We were well pleased that we booked this taxi tour to fit in with the hours our cruise ship was in Kusadasi. Denis was an excellent tour guide and we appreciated all the information he was able to give to us as we drove to Pamukkale (Hierapolis) and also Laodicea. The hot springs are an amazing sight and the ruins of both Hierapolis and Laodicea are quite incredible. It was the highlight of our trip to Turkey! It was great to see something of the Turkish landscape other than what was close to the cruise ports. The van was very comfortable for our adult family of four and we appreciated the bottled water provided.

Daily Pamukkale (Hierapolis) Tour from Kusadasi Reviewed by

3 hours was not enough time to see all of Hierapolis and Pamukkale.

Long trip there and back for a 3 hour site time, Absolutely loved exploring Hierapolis.... what an amazing site. And the information provided around it about each area was very good. Make sure you pack good footwear. Pamukkale was quite dry at this time of the year but still very busy with tour groups, can imagine that July and August is hectic. Still very beautiful and an amazing natural wonder. Next time I go, I will hire a car so I can wander around at my own pace and not feel like I was on the amazing race.

Great experience, good food and good tour guide

We found the tour perfect amount of information provided by the guide with ample free time for you to explore the areas that interested you individually. It was a long drive however they allow a breakfast stop to break up the trip in the morning and a coffee stop in the afternoon. Lunch was plenty of food with enough time to eat but not waste time there so we could start the drive back to Antalya. We were very happy with the overall tour.

You have to run if you want to see everything

They respected the timing and the promise to pick you up from the hotel. The guide explained a lot of interesting stuff during the long travel. But once you arrive at Pamukkale, you have only 3 hours to see everything. Which is not enough if you do not want to rush. We spent 30 minutes to a jewel store, a stop that the driver could have avoid.
