The next stop is the Temple of Literature, the first university of Vietnam which was built in the 10th century under the Ly Dynasty and greatly influenced by Confucianism. Next, visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex, an important place for many Vietnamese pilgrims. A traffic-free area of botanical gardens, monuments, memorials and pagodas. Stop outside the Ba Dinh Square and take a look outside the mausoleum, then continue to explore the One Pillar Pagoda. Next stop is Tran Quoc Pagoda, one of the oldest pagodas in Hanoi, before stopping at St. Joseph's Cathedral to learn about religion in Vietnam. The guide was on time at the hotel pick-up with a good knowledge of the various sites. Excellent car transportation to the opera house, temple of literature and school, gardens, lake, HCM mausoleum, pagoda by the lake and the unique egg coffee restaurant at the end of the tour. Luckily, our guide was with us crossing the various roads where the traffic was horrendous. We are not used to just cross in the middle of a stream of cars but we eventually fund the courage with our guide to just hold up an arm and surprisingly the motorbikes and cars weave around you, something we eventually got used to. Good value for money.

Exactly the tour we were looking for.

Tracy took us on a private tour through Hanoi. It was exactly what we were hoping for and so much more! The experience was a true immersion into the culture. While we had a little knowledge of history and traditions before, this tour truly widened our horizon. We've absolutely loved trying egg coffee. Tracy also gave us some dinner recommendations and we very much enjoyed dining like a local.

Very interesting tour, it gave us the opportunity to see the main beauties of Hanoi in a short time. We were only 2 so it was actually like taking a private tour. Our guide Tom was a competent and nice guy. On the tour we were hungry, so he recommended a great place to eat their Bahn me sandwich. We ended the tour with a tasty egg coffee
