Well planned tour. Our tour guide ‘PeterPan’ was just ok, he mentioned that he is doing the guide job during uni vacations. PeterPan had to be reminded to be with the group, being in his 20s PeterPan was way ahead of the group, lost a lot of info that he was giving to the couple of youngsters that kept pace with him. The atmosphere of the pagoda was peaceful and calm, the sceneries from the boat ride felt like exploring a lost world, and the panoramic view on of Mua cave left us speechless. (The boat ride is about 1hr 30min. Enjoyed the cycling. The tour requires a lot of walking/steps (big/high solid foundation) in the Pagoda and climbing up the 500 (big/high but unstable footings have to be very very careful going up and down) steps in Mau Cave, so be sure to get a good rest the night before the tour.

My significant other and really enjoyed this trip. It was a quick turn around for a day trip as there was a lot packed into one day so I would suggest being prepared for a longer day. That being said Hotel pick Up from Hanoi was on time and convenient our tour guide was excellent, provided lunch was solid and arrangements came together without a hitch. Its a trip packed with other tourist for sure but gives you the ability to see a lot in a short period of time. Very worthwhile one day excursion from Hanoi especially with limited time to see these sites.

Wonderfully well planned tour. Our tour guide Frankie was very informative and knowledgeable with just enough humor to keep us entertained throughout the tour. The atmosphere of the pagoda peacefully calmed our minds, the sceneries from the boat ride felt like exploring a lost world, and the panoramic view on of Mua cave left us speechless. (The boat ride is about 1hr 30min to 2hrs and the sits are hard so you might want to bring some cushions to sit on if you have sensitive bottoms). Seems that the price of the tour varies depending on the mode of transportation, higher prices for the same tour course will usually mean that you travel on a spacious limousine bus compared to a normal van. (Check with the travel agency again thou) The tour requires a decent amount of walking (walking around the huge pagoda and climbing up the 500 steps in Mau Cave) so be sure to get a good rest the night before the tour.
