What people are saying about Hallstatt
The tour was a long Journey 700km round trip. Our tour guide Peter was Helpfull and patient. He brings us to the 3 spots and give us the flexibility to mix and arrange which are the most suitable for us (As this is a private tour). He also asked his friend about Vegetarian resto for us at Salzburg. However if I can add something about Peter, He can be more pro-active in communicating about the itinerary and explain the tourists about all the history in every spots. It gives us more knowledge about places we go. Nevertheless, Hallstaat such a beautiful Place but far out of the city and Salzburg is a small city with it's charm and Mozart heritage.
Just a litle bit short time. 6 hours is not enough to visit three lakes and Hallstatt town.
Carlos the driver was fantastic - informative, good sense of humour and kind as well as a great smooth driver. We had a fantastic day and even wit it being mid winter and most things shut he called ahead to ensure a good Restaurant was open for lunch and took us to the best picture spots. Truly remarkable part of the world and this private tour of our family was an amazing way to see it. Worth every cent. Thank you.
This tour was a real treat through less traveled roads adorned with out-of- this- world scenery. Our tour guide and driver Carlos was excellent; he was attentive to all our needs and wishes. He stopped at a local eatery where we enjoyed delicious food; we were the only tourists there! He was knowledgeable and introduced us to facets of Swiss culture. I would certainly recommend this tour and Carlos as a guide to others. Going to Hallstatt was a highlight of our stay in Austria
This was a great half day tour. My friend & I were backpacking through the area and it was recommended that we visit Hallstatt. Public transportation would have cost about 40 euros, so for an extra 15 we were given a guide, a group ticket opportunity for a sky walk, and a stop at a beautiful Sound of Music sight! If you're thinking about seeing Hallstatt, this is the way to go!
