What people are saying about Hall of Mirrors

Excellent value, quick entrance, great idea.

There was no problem because we were there at opening time in March but I can see that it is well worth doing in the height of the tourist season. Fantastic value and a great visit to make. Travel out on the train and walk a short distance. The town of Versailles is worth a wander good croque monsieur in L’Esperance cafe. One tip if you want to take a self drive golf buggy around the huge and beautiful gardens take your driver’s license.

Audio guide (Spanish) worked great. Saved lots of time too.

I would recommend bringing your own earbuds to enjoy the audio guide content better. The audio guide devices we were given had audio jacks, but audio output came through a speaker. - Receptionists and guides were welcoming and gentle at all times. - Although my gf and I booked this visit in the wintertime (low season), we were told to watch out for any nearby pickpocketers (things went all quiet thankfully). Still, shows great care from them to us to warn us a out it.

Great experience with a very good Guide!

It was a really great experience. The group was very small and the Guide Antony was able to tell us a lot of stories about Versailles and answer to all the questions we had. Finally Versailles is wonderful! It's definitely a must have when visiting Paris.

A very thorough tour of the State Apartments and the Hall of Mirrors

Anthony was a great guide with lots of knowledge and a good sense of humor. He engaged the group and made it fun. The tour focused on the main but small subset of the palace, the State Apartments and the Hall of Mirrors. After the tour we could continue to explore the palace and the gardens on our own.

The place is amazing. The audio guide and info were awful.

This place was on our bucket list, so we were excited to go. The Palace is amazing, and overwhelming. The amount of wealth and money spent by these two kings was something else. However, the “included” audio guide left a lot to be desired. It did not work on the rather large first part of the tour, as that is in French only. When it did work, the information was not tha great, and lacked details. More background info would also have been nice. Like, where did the money come from? And the gardens in the winter were mostly shutdown, not much to see. We loved the Queens Hamlet (best part of the grounds) but had to buy a separate ticket. Why was that not included?
