What people are saying about Granada

Worth going but it would be good to have the option to wander off

Interesting, worth going along, the only thing to ignore is the promotion for the hotels. Deeply unimpressive with terrible staff in the main one who couldn’t give a damn and an empty restaurant. Also, don’t eat in the restaurant opposite the front. In fact, make the effort to go down to the main town, definitely worth it. Ideally you’d do this alone but it’s difficult to get in so there we go. The guides know their stuff but it’s nigh on impossible to ask them questions as everyone has headphones directly linked to their microphone. Pros and cons. 2.5/5 if you have the choice to do it alone. 4/5 if you don’t as it is worth visiting.

The guide was in time, good, told much, but could tell more .

I was just disapointed that I could not get the earlier time for entrance. I was not experieced of using on line booking to change the time for entrance inside time limitation. For the visit of Alhambra was my lifetime wish, I waited. But I was too late back in Antequera and missed an important bussines event. I was in place at 13 pm and ask gor option to change the group for entrance, but was not possdible. So I waited for 3.30 hours gor the entrance. And was a little sad.

A beautiful and historically fascinating experience.

The Alhambra was breathtaking. Our guide (Natasha) was excellent. She provided a very informative and good humoured tour, answering all questions. At several intervals she invited the group to answer questions of her own about the possible use or identify of several objects and artefacts. We were given adequate time to take photographs at various points during the tour. A memorable experience enhanced by first class tour guide.

Good BUT we didn’t get to see everything!

Part of this is my fault for waiting until the last minute to get tickets to the Alhambra and I also ASSUMED that everything in the Alhambra was included in the tour and access. The best thing is buy from the actual Alhambra website. It is only 17 Euros and it includes everything and you can come and go as many times as you would like. As far as the tour guide though, she was really nice and helpful, knowledgeable.

We had a fantastic guide called Vanessa.

We really enjoyed our tour and appreciated the knowledge our guide had of the Alhambra. She made it fun and was an exceptional guide. Thank you Vanessa!
