What people are saying about Granada

Wonderful but tour was too quick to fully take it all in.

The Alhambra and Palaces were absolutely stunning and well-worth the visit! The architecture was breathtaking and the gardens were spectacular. Our guide was informative and spoke perfect English, interspersed with rapid Spanish, which did make it a little hard to follow at times. The three-hour tour also moved quite quickly meaning there was little time to fully appreciate the splendour of what you were seeing before we had moved on. As the audio headsets only worked within a certain distance of the tour guide himself, one had to move quickly in order not to miss something, or lose him! Unfortunately this meant we did not get to spend as much time in the palaces as we would have liked and, when we tried to return later in the day, the queues were too long and we gave up. Finally, it wasn't very clearly signposted which entrance we were required to meet at and, as they are about a 15 minute walk apart up and down hills, we very nearly missed our tour as we were at the wrong entrance

An excellent way to see this famous site

We took this tour in July 2019. The Alhambra is exceptionally busy and this tour meant that we were guaranteed entrance at a time which suited us (10:30 am). What you get is much more than just "skipping the queue". The administration is very good, including a message on the day before the tour to confirm that all is still as arranged. It was easy to meet the guide at the Alhambra entrance, just where we were told to meet. We were fortunate in having a very good guide (Juan). Obviously, in the Alhambra you need to keep moving and for the most important points, you need to be there at a fixed time. Nevertheless, Juan gave the impression that we could proceed at a leisurely pace and take plenty of time for photographs and simply to enjoy the experience. Juan's time management was wonderful. His commentary was just what we needed; he seemed to judge his audience quickly and to strike just the right note. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and recommend it without hesitation.

Very slick and organised operation. Knowledgeable and professional.

Martin the tall one was our guide. He is Dutch and speaks excellent English. We appreciated this as sometimes English can be heavily accented and difficult to understand. Certainly would use this company again. Stress free operation from booking online; swift response and confirmation. Knowledgeable Guide who stuck to his itinerary and patter. Please note: if you use a guide for entry you have to remain with them as the tickets will not allow you to renter any areas after the tour is completed (3 hours). However, 3 hours is quite an intense experience with a guide. The audio system worked extremely well and there were no dud audio systems in our group - all equipment appears well prepared and in good condition. Recommend from our experience.

Walk in Granada are the only tours you need.

I went with these guys for 3 different tours whilst in Granada and each one was brilliant. The guides are super friendly and super knowledgeable. My guide for this particular tour was the lovely Jenny! She dealt with everything perfectly and we had so much time to see everything and got so much information but not in an overwhelming way. Nothing was rushed. She even followed up with me after the tour had finished later that night to recommend to me a tour company for the Sierra Nevada once she found the information out from a colleague. How's that for customer service? :D

Skip-the-Line Group Tour of Alhambra Reviewed by Jamie, 07/28/2019

Good, but unequal English/Spanish explanations

Our guide, Christina, was very nice and very knowledgeable. My only problem was that it was a bilingual tour, but the information given in Spanish far exceeded the English version (i understood both, but the people with me lost out as they only spoke English). I felt that the explanations in English lacked the detail and depth of the Spanish version, and thus people missed out on interesting information.
