IMPORTANT: Your bus might not have a toilet on board. Keep that in mind before boarding. Great way to see Ghent. The guided tour in the morning is relatively short (compared to the tour for Bruges) so we had plenty of time to explore on our own. Our guide, Vita was very friendly and knowledgeable. The spanish tourguide on our bus, Melissa was great. Since we're bilingual we were able to listen in on the spanish tours and they were quite the characters. Definitely would recommend the spanish tour guides as well.
The trip was great from start to finish. Coach was clean and comfortable. Perfect amount of time in both cities and the tour enabled us to see a lot of different interesting things. Our tour guide Andrea was great - really informative and had lots of interesting facts. The use of microphone and earphones meant we could hear everything. Overall it was a fantastic trip and would 100% recommend.
Have visited Ghent many times but have never done the boat trip. The boat guide gave a good explanation of the history of the city & the buildings. A boat tour always provides a different perspective and angle to take photos. The company was really good to answer questions via email. I booked online as I wasn’t sure how many boats would be running or how full they might be. Thank you.
Very knowledgeable guide, sufficient free time in Gent and Bruges, good value for money, if you don’t fancy the restaurant for lunch, walk up the road and just round the corner is a fab cafe that makes an amazing lunch
It was worth every penny. It was an amazing experience. The guide has the expertise in what he’s doing, first time to do a review because I was really happy with the experience.
