Delicious and Informative!

We took part in the Polish Food Tour with Explore Gdańsk. Our guide, Weronika, was very informative and guided us around some of the various sights in Gdańsk giving us some history of the area. Along the way we stopped off in four different restaurants and sampled some traditional Polish food; dumplings, a fermented cabbage soup, various home-style dishes and some cheesecake and coffee. Our group were two adults and two children and we were given an extraordinary amount of food! Our guide told us that this is typical of Poland...there was more food than we could ever eat so be prepared to go on the tour hungry and finish feeling stuffed! There was plenty of choice for our kids and we all enjoyed trying out some new dishes. We would definitely recommend :)

We started our tour a bit late due to a mix up with meeting point ,, but this did not matter at all as the Guide was open friendly informative with very good English,, he explained the origin of most of the historic buildings and gave a clear brief synopsis of of their history,, overall a very good experience

Amazing food tour

Took a wonderful food tour through the Gdansk area tasting everything from the most amazing cheese cake to delicious meats, dumplings and soups and learned about the flavors of Poland. Everything was perfect - it's great value, easy to find the tour-guide, easy walking pace and distances. Veronica is friendly, professional and charming - we thoroughly enjoyed everything she had to tell us about the neighbourhood and the food. There was a nice balance of food types, I didn't feel over-stuffed, just comfortably full. I highly recommend doing Explore Gdansk Food Tour as part of your Gdansk trip. It's a great blend of food, culture, and history.
