Full description
Join this half-day city tour in Foz do Iguaçu which will take you to 3 unique places where you will learn a little more about the history of the city.

Start the tour at the Buddhist Temple and admire the views over the city center of Foz do Iguaçu and Ciudad del Este in Paraguay. Learn about how this building was built in 1996 and contains over 120 statues which are distributed in the temple gardens, including a replica of Buddha La Pu-San, the famous seated Buddha. As you stroll through the complex, experience the beauty of the place which allows you to feel introspective and get closer to Buddhist philosophy.

Then, head on to the Arab Mosque, the 2nd largest Muslim community in Brazil. Find out about how the Omar Ibn Al-Khattab Mosque was inaugurated in 1983 and its orientation is given by the Mihrab, indicating the direction to Mecca, the holy city. Admire the stunning interior of the Mosque which has beautiful blue arabesques that transmit an incredible sense of peace to its visitors.

Finally, visit the Three Frontiers Landmark where 3 great South American nations meet: Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay. Discover how the landmark symbolizes a bit of the reality of the region, and here you will learn more about the culture and natural history of the tri-frontier location.
