What people are saying about Foz do Iguaçu
The ride is very short, but in my opinion completely worth it. pilot flew around it from all angles and it felt like an adventure ride as well as a scenic tour all packed into one! Connected the perspectives of the Brazil and Argentinian side together into one amazing view. However, this ride should only be considered AFTER you already know that you will take a boat tour into the falls, as that experience was even better. side note - I did not think to check which country the helicopter took off from when I booked this, it is in Brazil right outside the entrance to the park. Travelers from the USA should know that as of June 2019, Visas are not required to cross over into Brazil if you are already staying in Puerto Iguazu (Argentina). I did a ton of stressing while not knowing if I would be able to get my last minute visa in Puerto Iguazu, reading a ton of different explanations on how to obtain one. Just a passport did fine to get across the boarder!
My boyfriend Kyle and I took the all-day Iguassu Falls tour and had the pleasure of laughing, learning, and experiencing the most beautiful scenery! Eduardo Rocha was our tour guide and was very knowledgeable, taking time informing us about Argentinian culture, as well as the animals and history of the falls. He was more than willing to take the 100’s of photos I requested and deal with our dry humor. Huge kudos and thank you to Eduardo for making us feel so comfortable and welcome. You rock and definitely made a positive impact on us and the tour!
Everything ran very smoothly. Andre knows what he's doing and got us through in good time. Don't forget to bring cash for the park entrance fee (600 pesos as of July 2018) - they take reals and dollars too although at a lousy exchange rate. And you'll need another 25 pesos for the tourist tax on the way out of Argentina. Definitely recommend the boat ride. It's the best part.
Smooth pick-up and drop off at my hotel on the brazilian side. All you can eat buffet with barbecue churrasco was good, but the highlight is definitely the Latin American live show with multiple folk dances from different countries. Host spoke portuguese most of the time, but it didn't make our night less special
I've spent an incredible day at the Waterfalls of Iguaçu and the National Park. Eduardo, our guide, was very attentive and explained everything very good. Thumbs up for him! The group I was travelling with, was super fun! A MUST DO: the Devil's mouth boat trip below the waterfalls!!
