What people are saying about Florence

I honestly thought I was paying just to see the statue David

Much more to see besides the statue of David, the audio is important, provided such an interesting aspect of Michael Angelo. We spent so much time just sitting and admiring the statue of David

Excellent guided Tour through parts of the Duomo

Wenn were lucky and had a private tour. Our guide was well informed and told us a lot of details about the cathedral and historical facts of Florence. He guided us through various parts of the Duomo and the museum but did not accompany us in top of the cathedral and the Tower. Yet he managed to get us in the stairway without any waiting time! We can highly recommend this tour.

A Must visit to see the one and ultimate renaissance sculture

Go early to avoid crowds. Spend time getting information and detail about the work to appreciate it fully. Spend time looking at the fine detail also.

Lori was an excellent well informed guide

We really enjoyed our tour with Lori. She was an excellent tour guide with a wealth of knowledge about the city history and the artwork. It felt like having a tour with an academic historian rather than a tour guide.

Fascinating tour with a really entertaining and knowledgeable guide

We only booked this as a way of getting into the Uffizi as we'd failed to book online in time. We were kind of dreading it, as we don't really like organised tours, but ended up being so glad we had - despite still having to wait longer than expected to get in. Our guide, Lori, was exceptional. Her knowledge of the development of Renaissance art, it's artists, methods and meaning, gave us completely new insights. Most importantly, she avoided jargon, was amusing, accessible and wore her deep knowledge lightly.
