After arriving in Riomaggiore, your first stop, walk straight to the train station in order to be transferred to Manarola by train. Stroll through this tiny village, built in the Genovese fortress style, and enjoy a panoramic walk during which you will have the opportunity to take some of the most postcard-perfect pictures and relish in the stunning surroundings.
After your walk, take the train to Vernazza and marvel at its renowned ruined castle, a cylindrical tower from the 11th century, and the romanesque church of Santa Margarita in front of the dock. You will also have the opportunity to taste one of the most delicious gelatos in Italy.
Continue your tour to the "Pearl of Cinque Terre", the stunning village of Monterosso, an ancient fishing village with beautiful beaches and rich vegetation on its rock faces. Enjoy a traditional local lunch in the old town of Monterosso al Mare and taste some delicious Cinque Terre wines in one of the village's enotecas. Then, enjoy some free time to explore the town at your leisure before transferring to Riomaggiore by boat (weather permitting).
Finally, return to the 13th-century village of Riomaggiore, your first stop and the most southerly point in Cinque Terre, famed for its wine and walking paths. There, visit the famous marina and taste a cone of fried calamari and fish. You may choose to do another wine tasting here. At the end of the day, head back to your hotel in Florence.
