Great tour with Leidy, even if the elevator did fail.

We arrived for the morning tour and found that we would walk up after all as the elevator had failed. We enjoyed the tour and learned more than expected as we had already listened to Rick Steve's audio guide about the tower. Leidy did a great job, was super cheerful and we enjoyed her company. We were advised by quite a few people not to bother going up as it is better to see it from a distance, but I would say we enjoyed it. If I had to do it again I would pass on the summit as it is too crowded and the view is too high up to get a good look at the city. The 1st two levels are more enjoyable and not as crowded. This is one of those Touristy things that you should do once and then do a picnic on the lawn and watch the lights come one at dusk which we did as well before the tour. Sitting on a park bench at sunset drinking wince or in the grass is a very enjoyable way to spend an evening.

Fabulous location, delicious food and great service

Great value, considering that the ticket includes 1st level deck access and the lift pass. The attentive service was excellent and the food, both choice and quality, was very good. The view of the Seine, and beyond, was better than expected. The only negative was that, despite having prepaid, we had to wait about 40 minutes in the general lift queue before accessing the restaurant. Maybe a priority access provision could be considered.

The guide for our Eiffel Tower Tour was wonderful

With perhaps the exception of The Louvre, The Eiffel Tower is the one attraction people most want to see in Paris. Even with the Skip-the-Line tour, we still stood in several lines to get to the 2nd floor and then again to get to The Summit. The views were spectacular and well worth it, but it was a challenge for my 3-year old and my 6-year old to wait in those long lines (and for my wife and I to keep them entertained).

Walking up the Eiffel Tower was easier than I expected.

Maybe it was the excitement of the Eiffel Tower, or the break we took at the first floor, either way the climb was much easier than I expected. So happy we went that route instead of the elevators. Hafid, our guide, was excellent! Extremely knowledgeable, funny and he did everything to make the tour and climb enjoyable for all.

Good trip but lots of queuing for a skip the line event!

Our guide Aida was friendly and very informative.Joining arrangements were very good for this type of trip and punctual.Just a shame about all the queuing which withmodern technology could easily be avoided ie etickets not queuing once inside!!
