What people are saying about Edinburgh Old Town
Peter was so fun and knowledgable. He was incredibly flexible with our agenda and generous with his time. The bike shop was across the side street from the address given so we were at first confused but he was watching for us so it was fine. I learned a lot about the city and enjoying the peaceful views after all the castle crowds was so refreshing. We loved the electric assisted bike. It doesn't run by itself so you still get a workout but it helps a LOT! I couldn't have made it to Arthur's Seat without it. Great value for the rate and highly recommended.
Our guide was Peter, who is a little disorganized but over compensates with his interest in both the city itself & those taking the tour. He has a number of great facts & stories. The tour takes you away from the maddening crowd & you get to see many vantage points & the city through the lovely parks.
The guide was easy to understand , she was friendly and was informative. The only thing that went sideways was having to wait for two bikes to be replaced. Over all I enjoyed the ride.
Our flights were delayed and we had to cancel this tour. Jane provided the opportunity to still do the tour on another day . Thank you Jane for the excellent customer service.
This was a good highlight of the area. Negotiating the city traffic was worrying but the e-bike does help. I could not believe how fast we travelled downhill at one point!
