What people are saying about Edinburgh

Absolutely fantastic experience I will never forget!

Our guide, Gregor, was just the best! He provided almost constant entertainment during the drives from stop to stop - from historical tid bits to relevant music to jokes - it was so much cooler and more exciting than I'd expected. I highly recommend this tour and if you get Gregor, you scored big! Each stop was incredible, the lochs of Scotland are breathtaking and inspiring. Staying the night in Inverness was wonderful - a nice smaller town and a welcomed change of pace from the hustle and bustle of London where we were the previous week. Plus Inverness is gorgeous. We stayed close to Ness Bank and the river at night and in the morning was so calm and peaceful. I will miss that place and can't wait to go back! And the food was amazing too! We ate at Johnny Foxes and the haggis stuffed chicken was one of the best things I'd eaten the entire vacation. Gregor also recited Robert Burns' Address to a Haggis on the way back to Edinburgh which was pretty cool!

Nice day tour, great landscape, dedicated guide

Bus tour: long time sitting in the bus, but to see this wonderful landscape it's acceptable. Our bus driver Gregor was very dedicated. He played typical Scottish music and was telling a lot about Scottish history. Would be good if possible to turn the bus speakers louder. As a non-naitive speaker it's not that easy to understand everything if there are surrounding bus noises. It was awesome to be one time at the famous Loch Ness, but honestly it was a bit boring. The Loch Ness cruise was nice and we had great weather, but there is nothing else to do. All in all the tour was nice and got 5 stars from us, as the landscape you see during the tour is just awsome. We can recommend the tour if you have no problem to spend a lot of time in a bus.

Perfect day trip - couldn't have been better!

Thanks to our tour guide Andy, the day trip was super entertaining and interesting. He told as a lot (!) information about the country and the history of Scotland and the Highlands. The trip was perfectly organised and super fun. Apart from all the information you get, the trip is worth every Pound just for seeing the breathtaking landscape. I was there in November (maybe not the best time for Scotland) but we had perfect weather and the Highlands were beautiful. I would have given more than 5 stars if possible :)

Fantastic tour with a friendly and funny guide.

Fantastic tour through the Highlands followed by a boat trip on the dark Loch Ness. Everything was well arranged. The tour guide / driver Allan was funny and was able to tell with great passion about the history of Scotland and occasionally interrupted by matching music. Pittstops were regularly held to enjoy the surroundings and take pictures. What I thought was a pity that we made a stop at the Callander parking lot and not at Doune Castle, which is just in front of it. Apart from that, we had a fantastic day.

Great toir, amazing guide and a great ecperience@

Our guide James was great! Showed great knowledge about Scotland and its history and he was really passionate about it. We all got in the mood with him. He was great at customising the experience for us. We were really interested in castles and he made a few extra stops for us to admire them, even though some of them were not part of the tour.Landscapes and castles were awesome. Small groups are great! A fantastic experience!
