Full description
Departing Edinburgh in the morning, you’ll head over the Queensferry Crossing to the Kingsbarns Distillery. An old farm that has been beautifully converted to a distillery, learn about the area’s connection to whisky production that dates back to ancient times.

Afterwards, enjoy a pleasant drive through the rolling countryside of central Fife to Lindores Abbey Distillery. Built on the site of the first recorded distiller in the country, you’ll learn about the first whisky made in Scotland and sample their ‘Aqua Vitae.’

Continuing onwards, you’ll arrive in Perth, at the Innis and Gunn Brewery. This innovative brewer is making some of the most exciting beers and ales on the market, and you have the chance to taste the fresh beers in their very own tap room. From here, it’s a short drive back to Edinburgh.
