Rosslyn Chapel and Hadrian’s Wall Day Tour

I was particularly interested in Hadrian’s Wall; I found the old fortress and the details provided, very interesting. Rosslyn Chapel is a nice little chapel, and obviously it has many mysteries surrounding it. I went down to the castle as well (not much left of it) which was a nice walk and could have gone further to the caves where William Wallace once went into hiding. Between Rosslyn Chapel and Hadrian’s Wall we also stopped in Melrose; I did not see much of the village but I had lunch in the gorgeous Priorwood Garden, overlooking Melrose Abbey (sun was out on this September day). Our guide Alan was very entertaining and has a lot of knowledge on the historical facts of the locations that we visited.

Lovely, stunning day tour with exceptional guide

(FEBRUARY) First of all, our tour guide Martin was beyond exciting and overall a very pleasant man to have a chat with - knowledgeable, interesting and friendly. Since we were with about 8 people in total, we had plenty of time to make our stops as long as we wanted and were able to enjoy every aspect of the tour. The guide was also eager to take pictures (even when not asked). There was witty information not only about the places we visited, but also about the country itself. His personal, energetic input made the whole day so much brighter than it already was! I am definitely booking more tours with this fantastic organisation!

Tour guide was great! Attractions better suited for the fully-abled.

Niel was wonderful. I found Alnwick very cheesy and hype-centered; I wish I'd done the gardens instead of the castle. As a mildly disabled person, I found parts of this tour too lengthy to complete within the time given, and I did not attempt the lengthy walks to/around the castles either on the Holy Island or the last castle of the day. I took my photos from a distance. Alnwick also involved a large amount of walking.

Not the tour we had in mind, because it was too late to reserve.

I wanted to spend 3 days and see Glen Coe, Kilchurn and Eealan Dolan castles. To see Slye or Iseley islands. Maybe more ? But it was too late to reserve So we changed our minds and chose this tour. Rosslyn chapel is wonderful, the countryside is beautiful, the Hadrian wall very interesting. Paul, our guide driver has been very nice and tried to share his love for his country.

Keith our tour guide, was amazing, interesting, funny, knowledgeable.

I traveled with 14 other family members, we are a large group with lots to say. Keith was able to work with us, helped us, guided us. We had a great time. If we go back to Scotland we would request Keith. Thanks for everything and for Keith, He's great Elizabeth McGlone
