Eating Amsterdam, part of the Eating Europe family, aims at providing its clients with an experience they won’t soon forget by exposing them to real food, people and neighborhoods. Our mission is to leave travelers with an unparalleled, non-touristy, food-related experience in undiscovered neighborhoods of the most fascinating cities in the world. Since its start in mid 2013 Eating Amsterdam has led over 20.000 tourists and locals alike through the Jordaan, the Oud-West and the Hermitage districts as well as the city of Haarlem, just 15 minutes train ride outside of Amsterdam, to savour some of the city’s top eats, such as Amsterdam’s best smoked sausage, gouda and other typical Dutch cheeses, a taste of the Indonesian and Suriname specialties of the city, a variety of real liquorice, and a visit to an almost 400 year old café for a renowned slice of apple pie. Our Amsterdam Team is made of native and proud resident foodies!
