Full description
Enjoy a full-day scenic tour to the basalt rocks of the Giant’s Causeway. Formed more than 60 million years ago, the legend of the rocks features an Irish giant named Finn who was challenged to bridge the sea between Ireland and Scotland.

Departing from Dublin, stroll along the windswept path of County Antrim on arrival, and get panoramic views of the Mull of Kintyre and Rathlin Island. Continue along the coastal road, and enjoy views of Whitepark Bay and Portbradden.

Then, it’s time to explore the 37,000 basalt “stepping stone” columns of the Giant’s Causeway. Towering from the cliff, and disappearing under the sea to reappear on Straffe Island, learn the legend of Finn before driving along the Causeway Coastal route between Ballycastle and Dunluce to experience one of the most dramatic roads in the world.

See wind-blasted cliffs and unspoiled beaches. Stop at Dunluce Castle to tour the former residence of the McDonnell clan, considered by many to be the most romantic castle in Ireland. En route, pass through Bushmills, famed for its fantastic whisky. End with an orientation tour of Belfast city center, including City Hall, Victoria Square, and the famous Titanic Dry Dock, where the famous ocean liner was built.

It’s a long day.....starts early and is busy.......however, worth every minute!! Our tour guide Val was absolutely amazing. His knowledge, his wit, his humour and patience made the tour. Trying to keep 63 people of different ethnicities and language abilities together, engaged and on time is not an easy feat but he managed it at every stop and during our travels! I would definitely recommend Paddywagon Tours to my colleagues and friends who are visiting Dublin. I hope my next tour includes Val as my guide.

Would not be besides. ☺️

The tour was super nice and the guide was really good. Unfortunately we were just about to miss the bus due to bad information regarding collection point. Fortunately, we got the help of a driver from another company, so we reached it by almost running beside the bus and gesticulating with arms and legs to our driver. He also drove ahead of time. Otherwise, it was a wonderful trip and we were blessed with the most beautiful weather. The driver was good at entertaining and telling stories and all in all it was really good.

The tour company never showed. There were two times to meet. 7 and 730. We got there at 650. Additionally there was the wrong meeting point listed. Several locals said this happens daily and they refuse to change it even though it causes confusion. After finding this out, we walked between the two. Could see down the street. Waited over an hour in the cold and rain. When another group showed up, the operator from Paddywagon argued we were not there. We were there with two others so we had witnesses. The people with Paddywagon were rude and unhelpful. We did finally get a refund but can never buy our time back and day wasted due to planning out our trip.
