Hanoi Old Quarter: 1-Hour Cyclo Tour
- Duration: 1 hour
What a superb tour!! What a superb guide!! Ruby was very courteous, fun, informative, full of life, and a truly pleasant person. We went on a ride to a fabulous ancient temple, a very local yummy food eatery for banh xeo, a pagoda, the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum for a spectacular sunset, refreshing drinks at a unique vietcong Cong Caphe, an old french railway bridge, the Opera house, and the Cathedral! And all this in the flow (& against) of chaotic Hanoi traffic! Simply breathtaking.. Thanks very much, Ruby! You did a fantastic job on one of the best tours I’ve ever experienced around the world! Awesome!!
This was an excellent street food tour with our guide Jenny. Interesting, friendly and knowledgeable, Jenny made it fun too and was was happy to answer all our questions. We had bun cha, fried and fresh spring rolls, papaya salad, banh mi & egg coffee. We finished off ourselves with a Hanoi beer on the street. All very clean and tasty and felt we were in safe hands. We did our cyclo tour mid way through and it was fun seeing the old quarter buzzing at night.
Overall it was an amazing experience. Learning not only the food but the history of each place we passed by. I booked only the food tour but Andi, my guide had given me insights about everything I wanna know about Hanoi and Vietnam. He’s very kind and considerate! Try to ask for him as your guide if you want to have this tour. Thank you Dani and thank you Hanoi for the experience. I’ll comeback and next time I’ll make my stay longer! ❤️
We enjoyed it immensely! Our guide, alex nguyen was vibrant, friendly and speaks fluent english. More importantly, He was very acommodating and patient with our group as we couldn’t walk that fast (my mother just had knee surgery). He brought us to 5 places i’m sure we couldn’t find on our own- the food was amazing! The cyclo ride made the trip more interesting! Highly recommended! Dont forget to check the weather forecast!
Our host, Jenny, guided our small group walking through the streets of Hanoi old quarter to venues that we would never find on our own. Each dish was representative of the specific venue and their specialism. The evening culminated in a short cyclo tour around the local streets to experience the night life of the area, finishing in the area around lake Hoan Kiem. Agreat experience to be recommended.
