Amazing hike in the jungle stunning views from the top!

We were the only 2 people going on this day, which was a great surprise! The guide, Mr. Kam, was patient with us, and explained everything we needed to know. He had a vast knowledge of the jungle, buddhism and thai culture. The hike was extremely beautiful and the lush green forest was stunning to walk in. The view from Doi Suthep should not be missed, if you are in Chiang Mai! For lunch we were served a really good padthai. After lunch we went to a waterfall nearby. There were no other people at the waterfall - not a single soul besides us. It was so nice! And great to get away from the hordes of chinese at Doi Suthep. We dont have a single bad thing to say about the trip. We highly recomend!

Excellent English speaking guide and amazing tour

We booked the Chiang Mai: Full-Day Doi Suthep Trekking Tour quite last minute for a group of 5 people. Thankfully our booking was confirmed fast and the whole process was seamless. On the actual tour day the heavens were pouring down on us, but that did not ruin our mood. Although it was too dangerous to trek up the mountain our guide took us to the top in the car (which was big a spacious) and we climbed the stairs to the beautiful temple and scenery above. The guide explained to us the history and significance of the temple and the surrounding area and organised an authentic PadThai lunch. Overall the tour was a lot of fun where we were cared for from pick-up to drop-off and learned a lot.

Amazing experience, definitely one to try.

We were pick up by Tui and driver, and we were treated to a wonderful drive up the mountain. We really enjoyed the experience in the Hill Tribe Village were we go to meet some of the people there and enjoyed a wonderful cup of local coffee, after being given all the information about the people from Tui. From there we went to the temple were Tui had a lot of information to tell us about the history and significance about the temple. It was a little busy when we go there, but the people started to leave and at around 7pm there were every little people there, just before the monks started to chant. It was an amazing experience all round and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Mona was an excellent guide & Um a very friendly & able driver.

This was an enjoyable experience & I would recommend it to anyone considering it. My guide, Mona & driver, Um (hope I am spelling correctly) were both very professional, friendly & helpful. Mona was very knowledgeable & was able to answer all my questions. She had a mastery of English that was better than any other guide I had during my 5 wks in Asia. I am especially grateful that she even went above & beyond by making the steep hike up & down the steps alongside the waterfall to take pictures for me twice.

Great day overall with varied experiences and easy transportation.

Sid was an excellent guide. Temple was beautiful, sticky waterfalls were so fun, and everything was provided throughout the day from waters to snacks to a delicious lunch. A must do!
