Greet the outback sunrise as you're picked up from your hotel around 07:30 and relax in your comfortable Mercedes touring vehicle. As the warm golden rays highlight the red tones of the landscape, you’ll head south on your way to Howard Springs and a pleasant stroll through the surrounding lush monsoonal rainforest. Here, you will also learn about some of the traditional bush foods and medicinal plants of the aboriginal people. There will be plenty of time for photos or just to sit and watch the Barramundie feed as you sip on a lovely cup of tea or coffee with beautiful homemade mango muffins for morning tea. Following from Howard Springs, you will journey to the historic country town of Batchelor. Situated on the doorstep of Litchfield National Park, this little gem is full of stories and characters.  There will be an opportunity here for a visit to the local museum and significant landmarks as your experienced guide prepares the banquet for lunch. When the time is right, you will then journey towards Litchfield National Park and the bounty of good times it will offer. Here, you can observe massive waterfalls, enjoy short walks among the ancient rock forms, learn more about bush foods and medicines and hear about the history of the region. A swim in the crystal clear creeks and waterhole is also high on the agenda. The actual itinerary will be designed on the day according to the desires of the small group.
