Full description
Spend a day in the natural habitat of fascinating wildlife creatures at Litchfield National Park. After being picked up from your accommodation at approximately 6:00 AM, ride in air-conditioned comfort to the famous Adelaide River. There, you'll board your private boat and cruise up the river. From the boat you can feed the crocodiles that teem in the water and see an abundance of wildlife all around you. You may even see a crocodile launching itself out of the water with the power of its tail! At the famous Litchfield National Park, you'll visit three waterfalls - the Wangi, Florence and Buley rock holes - and get the opportunity to swim in all three! Lunch is prepared in the park by your guide - a big bush picnic with an array of wraps, cold meats, breads, salad and fruit. Snacks are also included along the way if you're ever feeling peckish! Local and knowledgeable guides will give you thorough commentary throughout the day and stop for lots of photo opportunities. Marvel at the magnetic and cathedral termite mounds, and take time to visit the butterfly farm. Return to your accommodation in Darwin around 5:30 pm - or, on Sundays and Thursdays, at the famous Mindil beach markets!

Amazing day out of Darwin, got to see some fierce saltwater crocodiles jumping for the feed at Adelaide River and had the chance to cool down in 3 different and interesting waterfalls. Awesome experience and if I come back to Darwin, would consider doing it again. Great, funny guide, Daz and crocodile expert, Damo kept us all entertained and made for an amazing day!

From the moment we were collected at the door of our hotel, we knew we were in for a fabulous day. Our guide Daz was a typical laid back, nothing's a problem Territorian. Daz provided us with plenty of historic information on the Territory and was extremely knowledgeable both from a cultural perspective and from an environmental perspective. His dry sense of humour kept the drive entertaining which was loved by us and our fellow passengers. Nothing was too hard for Daz, he accommodated all requests. His driving was impeccable and we felt safe at all times. The crocodile tour on the Adelaide River with Damo was fabulous. Once again, our guide was terrible knowledgeable about the Territory and was clearly passionate about Crocodiles. His respect of these creatures was so good to see. We even got to meet Brutus which was so very exciting (and just a little terrifying). I thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone for that real Territory experience. Ten stars!!!

I booked this adventure blind, I hadn’t read anything about this tour company and I wasn’t disappointed. They were fantastic, Damo with the jumping croc was entertaining and we got to see Brutus plus many others and Daz the tour driver was full of information and nothing was too much trouble. Lunch and snacks were provided it was just a great day which I thoroughly enjoyed.
