Vidokrug's Private Sarajevo Tour Guided by Besam is My New Favorite

Vidokrug's Private Tour of Sarajevo and Mostar includes a great itinerary and Besam, my tour guide, made it a wonderful experience. Despite my booking the tour the night before, Besam arrived promptly and cheerfully at 6 am, which made it pleasant from start. Besam, whose English is perfect, conveyed a great deal of fascinating information as part of a conversation rather than a lecture. He convinced me to climb to top of the mosque in Mostar by persuading me that the view was worth overcoming my fear of heights and reassuring me that he would help me do it. A local guide lead an amazing tour of Sarajevo, including the Tunnel of Hope, the 1984 Winter Olympics sites, and the bridge where the Archduke's assassination sparked WWI. After a delicious and authentic dinner, we had a pleasant discussion while Besam expertly drove the curvy route home. At the end, I felt like I was saying good-bye to a friend. I plan to take Vidokrug's private 2-day Albania tour guided by Besam.

A wonderfully cultural day-trip with great insight into Croatian life.

Our tour guide was fantastic, coming right up to our airbnb to pick us up, even though we were on the outskirts of town - nowhere near the city centre. He was patient, informative and very friendly- it was wonderful to have such a relaxed and culturally-rich experience. We visited Mostar, saw the famous bridge made from traditional Bosnian methods, learnt about the history of the areas we drove through, learnt about the complex origins of the Bosnian war, tasted traditional Punjena paprika and saw the devastating after-effects of the conflict and exodus out of Bosnia. We were able to visit the old town and wind our way through the amazing city, seeing the traditional divers of Stari Most off the bridge of 24 metres and were even taken to the city museum to watch a short film on Mostar during the war. Would definitely do this tour again, and big thank you to our guide for such a great day.

Mostar Full-Day Trip from Dubrovnik Reviewed by Freedom, 29/08/2018

Interesting, informative, and beautiful.

On Tuesday the 12th of June 2018 at 07h30, our adventure began! Anna our guide was very knowledgeable, caring and lovely. Our driver was excellent. We had stops for coffee and were given comfort stops as well, yet we still had enough time to explore Mostar and to taste the local foods. We had time to take a swim at the Kravice waterfalls which were beautiful. HOWEVER we do wish that we could have spent more time swimming at the waterfalls.... but we do realise that distance is extremely far and we also had quite a few border posts to get through. It was a great day...time and money WELL spent and historically eye opening as to what atrocities the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina had to endure during the war between 1992 and 1995! Thank you Anna ....well done... and thank you to the Adriatic Explore Company as well!!

Excellent tour guide called Mili was knowledgeable, friendly & helpful

Our tour from Split to Medjugorje and Motsar was excellent. The car was roomy and spacious. The guide called by the name Mile was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. In Motsar Mili picked up a good localguide to take us around. The time keeping was excellent. In Medjugorje he could have allocated a bit more time. Then he has to see other peoples' interest in the group. On the whole myself and my wife were satisfied with trip. It seems Get Your Guide have picked up the right kind of local people to be guides. We look forward to be with you in our future holiday if your price matches our pocket. Regards Attiballi Narayanan

The guides were brilliant and very informative .

We found the trip very informative and brilliant and Anastasia needs complementing on her history knowledge. Mostar was very interesting and we loved the waterfalls. A great day out. Bosnian cuisine and wine was lovey too. A great trip all round thoroughly enjoyed it.
