What people are saying about Costa Brava

Great outing affected by weather -- out of guide's control!

I highly recommend this excursion to anyone interested in casual kayaking and snorkelling. We had opted to stay in Plaja San Pol, so met the rest of the group when they arrived from Barcelona. The communication arranging this in advance was excellent; very easily arranged. Guide was extremely friendly and upbeat. After we got to the first spot to cliff-jump (terrific), weather turned and had to head back. EXTREMELY rare t-storm cut the trip short and eliminated the snorkelling. However, were given a VERY generous refund, so zero complaints, considering this was out of the company's hands. Guides maintained a very positive attitude while making lunch in the rain. Ride back to Barcelona on coach was very comfortable. My only suggestion would be to try to break up the kayakers by skill-level. I would have enjoyed it more if we could have paddled just slightly more intensely. Lots of time to do this on bus from Barcelona to the coast. Excellent excursion!

This was a terrific family day with Elena!

We booked this tour a couple weeks in advance for our family - all 8 of us, in varying ages. It was a beautiful day - a little windy - but we had a great time, accompanied by Elena on this amazing kayak tour of Costa Brava. The scenery was beautiful, and the day was a holiday Sant Joan. So we were grateful for the kind staff spending the day with us. Elena taught us how to kayak and navigate in the strong winds. SHe told us stories of the area and what to expect from the holiday of Sant Joan as well. It was a completely enjoyable experience, that we won't soon forget.

Day full of natural beauty, relaxing, great hosts and yummy sandwiches

Really well organised tour with great hosts. We went with Elena and she was a total delight to talk to and you could see she truly loves her job. Elena gave us great tips for our stay in Barcelona, made us laugh, and was excellent with my nine year old daughter. The landscape was magnificent and different from what we're used to. It was great to get in the water and explore the underwater world with hosts that know what they are doing. Both were really clear communicators and thoroughly honest. Would highly recommend.

Great day exploring Costa Brava coast- by kayak!

A well-organized day out to the beautiful Costa Brava, just over an hour north if Barcelona by bus. Groups of no more than 12 head out in double kayaks to explore the gorgeous rock coves and crystal clear waters right off the beach. A fantastic day out and the guides make the whole experience really accessible--and they take lots of fotos so you don't have to worry about your camera/phone getting wet.

kayaking part is fun; snorkelling part is not interesting

The trip is not easy that you can sit and relax. It takes quite a little energy to workout in the kayaking. I expected to see more beautiful creatures and landscape in snorkelling. But only one tiny fish was spotted. My fingers and feet also got hurt (small stings into the skin but extremely painful) in the snorkelling. You need to be very careful not to touch the rock in the sea.
