This was three hours well spent on an amazing replica ship, with crew going up into the crows nest to release the sails which gave a really good feel for what it must have been like in days gone by. We saw Bottle Nose Dolphins and Common Dolphins and I caught a glimpse of what I thought was a turtle. There was a lot of fun as we all kept our eyes glued to the ocean and waited for someone to call "here on this side" or "over there". The crew had extremely sharp eyes and helped lots for us to take pictures and catch the dolphins in their natural habitat. We stopped for those who wanted to have a dip in the ocean and there were some who did. This was a lovely relaxing way to spend 3 hours after all the sightseeing we had done that week and was such fun and it is truly worth the money. I mustn't forget there was a parrot to add to the authenticity of the whole thing.
A chance to see how sailers of yesterday travelled. The crew were very good and stopped to allow us to see the dolphins that were swimming nearby. You can go for a swim if you want, into warm Atlantic Ocean. Approx 3hours duration that went far too quickly. Very relaxing. Would recommend.
We had a good trip, the boat replica looks good. We were lucky to see dolphins. It would have been excellent if the experience was more lively with the staff, we found them a bit quiet. Overall good experience and would recommend.
It was a really beautiful, unique way to see the sights and we also saw dolphins which was amazing! The guides were really nice and the free cake and wine was a nice bonus too. I'd definitely recommend
Amazing experience, to sail a ver authentic Santa Maria ship, staff was putting all the efforts to spot any dolphins and they managed. That was something you can't miss when visiting Madeira.
