Leave the port at 8:30 am with a comfortable private vehicle, sit back and relax while enjoining the stunning countryside in the background. The journey time to Rome is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. After you've met your guide in Rome, listened to personalized commentary about the sights, the private tour starts at the Colosseum, one of the most impressive spots in Rome. From there you will trace a path through the cobbled streets of the city to the superb Ancient Rome path. Admire the Constantine Arch and a part of the Via Sacra leading into the open-air museum of the Forum area. Shore trippers will learn Roman Emperors glorious past history, as you never would have guessed. Piazza Venezia and the Palatine Hill are the gateway to one of the biggest archaeological parks in the world: Roman Forum and Palatine Hill, the political, administrative and religious center of Rome.

After a walk, reach the Pantheon and visit its gorgeous interiors, then board the coach towards the Vatican. The tour ends at the magnificent Saint Peter’s Square, where you can admired the Bernini colonnade and the amazing Basilica facade. Listen to stories from the guide about the popes, pilgrims and Renaissance art masters who have left their marks on this unique of its kind site, whose Michelangelo-designed dome dominates the Rome skyline. After greeting the guide, guests can finally enjoy a relaxed transfer back to the port of Civitavecchia at approximately at 15:30. Drop-off is directly at the dock at 17:00.
