Full description
At 9:00 AM, begin the day with a hotel pick-up and ride to the base. Once arrived, you'll have your safety briefing and be kitted out in safety gear. Then you can begin the hike up to the old Hmong Hill Tribe Village at the summit of Doi Pui National Park.

The trek takes you through a stunning highland jungle, filled with huge indigenous Mai Yai trees. After about 3 hours of steady walking, you'll reach your destination: the summit of the National Park, reaching an elevation of 1400m. At the peak, your bikes and gear will be waiting for you in the nearby village.

After a well-earned lunch break, begin your descent through the National Park on your mountain bike toward Lake Huay Tung Tao, an approximately 2-hour ride away. In contrast to the hike up, gravity rewards you now with a cool ride downhill with views of the beautiful Mae Ping Valley.

Awaiting you lakeside is a proper late lunch with cool drinks. Take a dip before it’s time to jump back in the truck and head out of the National Park. After a fun day out, you will be delivered back to your hotel around 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM.

This tour is great for anyone wanting to experience the nature around Chiang Mai without encountering big crowds. We were only two people (+guide) and hardly saw anyone else along the way. Our guide was incredibly friendly without being overbearing or awkward. He tried to cater as much as possible to our level of experience during both the hiking and biking parts. From what I could tell, our bikes were in a good shape and all the necessary protective gear was provided. Note that the mountain biking part is quite challenging and not necessarily suited for beginners! Finally, this tour includes two local meals that tasted incredibly good. Overall, a great experience!

Very good organization, and coordination. We had a great time. The guide, Jo was very friendly and qualified. A lunch break with an excellent meal and a magnificent setting. And at the end, a stop by the lake with another very good meal !! We do not come out with hunger!

Have been equipped with a helmet, elbow and knee pads, backpack including water and mountain bike. First we drove up the mountain in an open jeep. The bikes on the roof. Then the hike through the jungle to the highest point with a wide view of the beautiful mountain landscape. Down to the small village where there is a light delicious lunch. You have to be firm! Now take the bikes down over hill and dale. Downhill, not bike tour. Not an easy road, but partly a steep gravel path. Not for scaredy bunnies. It was fun for us! Everything was asked of an elderly gentleman in our small group. Once at the bottom there is another delicious meal before you go back! With a great experience. What would be even better if the guides could speak English better! And could tell more about the plants and everything!
