What people are saying about Chiang Mai

Very professional, very friendly staff, multinational speakers

Araksa's staff are very professional. Mr. Charlie came to greet us at the entrance. He's very kind and helpful as we booked our activities around 10:30am. However, Araksa staff's inventories in the system were shown as 13:00pm. Luckily, Mr. Charlie was very helpful and let us to experience their tea garden activities without waiting for so long. Very good explanations and instructions. Also, leave us some times to enjoy our moments like taking vdo or pictures. The knowledge of staff was perfect and easy to understand. Almost everyone could speak English and most of them spoke English very well. Araksa's staff also could speak more languages like French, Chinese and other European languages as there are a lot of European tourists come to join the activities with them. Overall, it's beyond our expectation. Araksa, you did such a very great job on taking care of us!

Fun, knowledge gaining, but much time spent in market

The food tour in Chiang Mai was a solid tour of the local food culture. We started off at a small restaurant and ate a dish called Khao Soi which was phenomenal, then we visited a local market and learned about various fruits, vegetables, and other popular foods. The majority of the tour was spent in the market, which got a little tiring, but we were able to sample things such as beef pastry cakes, candies, sausage, and even silkworm, crickets, and some kind of brain. These were less dishes and more individual items, but still a good taste of Thailand. Finally we drank local tea and wrapped up the tour with some locally made ice cream. Overall the tour was good, just be ready for a lot of standing in the market with small bite-sized portions during that part of the tour.

Absolutely fantastic. A must do for anyone visiting Chiang Mai

WOW what a fantastic tour! We tasted such amazing local food. Our guide Boon was brilliant. Our teenage children were with us and he made sure there was food for everyone to eat from deliciously spicy to wonderfully flavorful but not too spicy at all. We even had the most amazing dessert in the local food market. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone.

Great and well organized experience at a lovely farm

This course has overfilled all our expactations!!! A very nice and lovely trainer, showed us very easy how to cook Thai food. Very good ingredience has been used and been showed to us before in the garden of the farm. The farm is very big and the kitchen was very well prepared. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed our meal outside. Hardly recommended!!!!

Good options for vegetarians, very nic guide

There were 5 of us on this tour. The guide was great about tailoring the food for spice level and for me, as a vegetarian. We went to a few locations and definitely were stuffed afterwards.
