What people are saying about Cascade Locks
I have gone on a tour to the Multnomah Waterfall before. I wanted to show these world-famous falls to my relatives from Europe. Soon after I booked this trip, the area was devastated by fires making access to the M. Falls impossible. It would have been nice if the company had told me earlier about the itinerary changes. As it turned out, we didn't get to see the famous M. Falls and we also could see the world most expensive restroom stop , Vista House. We had to settle for a much smaller (but still lovely) waterfall. Somehow I feel I was short changed.
Heather did incredible job with information ranging from geological, historical, interesting information and kept the entire van happy and able to experience these beautiful landmarks without the worries of driving and directions. It is not to be missed!!! Back in Portland for lunch and touring the local sights!
Clean, professional, comfortable on time tour van/bus picked us up at hotel. Guide was professional, knowledgeable and helpful. Not a lot of time at each site but good for a nice overview of Multnomah and other beautiful waterfalls, and Columbia River gorge. Would recommend
The guide arrived promptly at 9.00 as promised. He gave an excellent running commentary about the history of the are and gave us a lot information about the Falls and Columbian Gorges. The guide also descibed the features of River Columbia.
Tom was very friendly and knowledgeable. The gorge was beautiful, and so were the waterfalls. If I could change one thing, I would extend the time at each stop. It would be nice to spend more time enjoying each site.
