What people are saying about Cardiff

Adrian, our driver and tourguide made the tour even more special!

The Wye Valley is beautiful and worth seeing on top of the magnificent Tintern Abbey. I was surprised by the Roman ruins, especially the amphiteater which was huge and well preserved. The itinerary as a whole was excellent and paced just right. I loved the smaller buses, and appreciated the musical accompaniment that was selected for us. By far the best part was our driver and tourguide, Adrian. He had the rare ability to animate history, giving us not just a sense of the bigger historical picture, but also the small details that are frequently left out. He is a wonderful person, full of Welsh charm, a delight to talk and listen to. He also took good care of us, drove carefully, patiently explained things to us, and kept us entertained for the entire day.

Wye Valley: South Wales Full Day Tour from Cardiff Reviewed by Anonymous, 13/09/2019

Fabulous experience, thoroughly enjoyable.

I am wary of bus tours as a rule, but this one restored my faith! Well planned, great itinerary, wonderful scenery, plenty of stops and a guide who was courteous, entertaining and informative. We were fully apprised of every ETA with helpful advice to get the most out of each stopping point, and despite a most unexpected traffic jam on a very narrow stretch of road, were only five minutes later than planned arriving at our lunch stop. Bus was comfortable and air conditioned, and if I have any gripe it was that the musIc could have been a bit louder, though the commentary was quite audible. Would definitely recommend and would have taken another trip if there had been a vacancy during my stay.

Good day trip but potential to improve the schedule

The day trip was a good trip in general and the Rhossili Bay is lovely. However, the first stop of the trip in a small museum (and also a loo stop) is a waste of time. There is not much to see in the museum and everyone could postpone the loo break until the next stop (where toilets are also available). This would affect the time one has at Rhossili Bay. With more time there it would be possible to go to the top of the beak and to the causeway (or the beach) instead of picking one out of three. Would also advise people to eat a quick snack after the costal walk.

Great tour, Gower was exciting to visit and explore.

Tour guide was very knowledgeable about every part of the tour. Also had a great funny personality. The walk on the cliff at Mumbles bay was on of the highlights of the day. Recommend this tour.

Saw many areas of Wales that we never would have seen on a large bus.

The small bus and driver/guide John were excellent. We say areas of Wales that we never would have seen otherwise. John's knowledge of Wales really helped us understand more about Wales.
