Amazing tour, highly recommended, worth every penny spent.

We went on March 15, 2018 as a couple. Our guide, Lidia, is very knowledgeable about the history and background of the city. The 4-hour tour covered the Jewish quarter, Arabian bath, interesting highlights on street landscape and scenery, alcaza and finally the Mezquita. Every minute is interesting and engaging. We did not feel tired walking around at all. It is worth every penny spent. We were the only 2 participants so unexpectedly became a private tour. We travel from Seville to Cordoba by Renfe train for 40 min. The walk to the meeting point was an easy 15 minutes. I realized that most travellers would choose a coach bus tour from Seville but going on your own gave us flexibility to stay longer after the tour finished at 2:30 pm. Renfe train can return to Seville at 5,6,7 or 8 pm. We totally enjoyed our time in Cordoba with the arrangement of getting a local guide.

Engaging, knowledgeable guides an excellent introduction to Córdoba

Our guide, Angie, from Córdoba a Pie was a pleasure to be with. We had a leisurely stroll round the main places of interest, including the Jewish quarter, the Arab Baths and the Alcazar. When talking about the Inquisition we also found out that Angie was a Monty Python fan nobody expected that !!! For the visit to the Mesquita a second guide took over. This building has to be one of the places to see before you die. Its over 1200 years of history make it unique.

Great guide, Sandra, but an hour too long!

A very interesting guide to Córdoba with Sandra, our English speaking guide. It was good to get into the sites without having to queue. My only reservation is that it was too long without a break for refreshment so that by the time we arrived at the Mesquite we were very tired and I, for one, had to sit out some of that part of the tour. For this reason only I have taken off 1 star.

An excellent way to see this wonderful city

Our guide Hymie? / James from Córdoba a Pie made the first two hours fly by. He knew so much about the city he obviously loved. His delivery and pace of the tour was faultless and engaging. Angela was the guide for the Mosque / Cathedral, she too had a huge amount of knowledge which she effortlessly shared with us. A wonderful day spent in a beautiful city.
